Services I Offer

Deluxe Raindrop Session

90 minutes: $150

A sequence of highly therapeutic essential oils placed first on the spine of each foot. The same sequence of oils is then dropped up the spine followed by specific massage techniques. The goal of the Raindrop is to bring balance to the tissues surrounding the spine, stimulate the nervous system and lymphatic system to promote healing and wellness. A Raindrop can assist with clearing emotional blocks, support immune function, improve mental clarity and improve physical well being. The Deluxe Raindrop includes 3 extra oils, hot towel, and Reiki.

Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR)

Myofascial release therapy (MFR) was developed by John F. Barnes, PT to specifically address the fascia, the connective tissue that runs like a three-dimensional web throughout the body. MFR involves applying gentle, sustained pressure into myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain, restore motion and body awareness and to enable the patient to break through physical and emotional restrictions. By going slowly and waiting for the body’s natural rhythm, the fascia responds to your therapist’s skilled touch by elongating, rehydrating, and reorganizing. MFR opens space for fluid and energy movement, facilitating greater circulation and communication—allowing the body to heal.  Myofascial Release is a hands-on treatment performed on the skin with no oils or creams. The gentle tension between the therapist’s hands and the patient’s skin is what allows access to the fascia in a way that the gliding effect of traditional massage cannot achieve. MFR incorporates many new types of body manipulation to improve movement and function.

Trigger Point MFR

Myofascial release therapy is also called myofascial trigger point therapy. This is because myofascial pain originates in various trigger points in your body. These trigger points are stiff areas in your fascial tissue. They feel like small bumps, nodules or knots in your muscles.

Tightened trigger points can restrict your muscle and joint movement. You may have pain at the site of a trigger point or widespread pain throughout your body. Myofascial release therapy focuses on releasing the tension in these trigger points.

Sub-Occipital Release Technique

Sub-Occipital Release Technique is a soft tissue technique that assists in reducing tension in the soft tissues of the cervical spine, specifically the upper cervical, suboccipital aspect of the spine. This technique helps to promote strengthening of weak muscles facilitating and improving the cervical range of motion. Suboccipital release technique along with conventional treatment improves neck pain, disability, and range of motion.

Cervical Traction

Cervical Traction is a treatment for neck pain that involves lightly pulling on your head to create space between the bones in your neck (your cervical vertebrae). This type of traction is performed by a skilled practitioner who holds your neck and head in their hands and then gently provides a traction or pulling force to your neck. It is a series of rhythmic periods of pulling and resting. This increases blood flow and muscle elongation to prompt increased pain free range of motion.

Muscle Energy Technique (MET)

Muscle energy technique (MET) is a type of osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) developed by Fred Mitchell, Sr, D.O., in 1948, designed to improve musculoskeletal function through mobilizing joints and stretching tight muscles and fascia, to reduce pain, and to improve circulation and lymphatic flow.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

CST is a gentle hands-on technique that uses light touch to examine the relationship between the brain, spine and sacral regions. With CST we examine the movement of fluids in and around these areas. The entire body is assessed and treated for rhythmic dysfunction. CST promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity. Typical results include decreased flight/fight response.

Deep/Soft Tissue Mobilization

Manual deep tissue mobilization is essentially soft tissue mobilization applied with more force or at a greater depth in order to release the parts of your body that are severely restricted. Manual deep tissue mobilization can often be slightly painful. However, it is important to note that this is temporary and will ultimately help your body to achieve dramatic results.

Manual deep tissue mobilisation can also relieve tightness in joints, muscles and fascia. Restrictions or tightness in soft tissue and joints can impair normal movement and in some cases will cause muscle pain during movement. Excessive tightness in muscles and the body can also restrict the flow of blood and disrupt nerve signals in the area. Manual deep tissue mobilization is regularly used to restore joint function after an injury or used to help promote pain free mobility in your daily life
